I have read the Daily Light every morning for many years now. I love that it is all scripture. I love the compilation of scripture around a particular theme. I have spent many hours with the LORD meditating on HIS messages.
This is an EXCELLENT way to get the WORD in you and truly digest its meaning.
I always reccommend this devotional above all others. Read this first, and then the words of human beings, if you must.

This devotional has been an encouragement to me for so many years. It explains the truth using different scriptures. It is making the passage for the day alive using God's Word by itself. Truly God's Word is alive and active like a "double-edged" sword.
