After giving a bird's-eye view of the novel and explaining why so many find Dan Brown's 'case' to be convincing, Stephen Clark shows why the truth about Jesus is the most important thing we can ever consider. Having set out the Bible's account of Jesus and its relevance to our lives, he then goes on to demonstrate that The Da Vinci Code contains basic inaccuracies and errors and points out why the evidence can in no way support Dan Brown's 'case'. In a final chapter he considers the evidence for believing that the New Testament is historically trustworthy and reliable and that Jesus did in fact rise from the dead. In doing so he presents a compelling case for believing what the Bible says about Jesus. By the end of the book it becomes clear that what matters is not only what we make of Jesus, but what the real Jesus makes of us.
