Excellent evangelistic message at the end of the movie. A family movie, great for those who enjoy the beautiful scenery of Alaska, white water kiaking, and an old abandonned mine are all the setting. As a pastor, I will be using this in my church this year.

I gave this book 4 starts because it is an exciting story. It would keep a young boys attention. But, it is very outdated. No way would a child be allowed to live in the woods and provide for himself for a full year in 2010. Including killing small game and living is a hollowed out tree. Somewhat unrealistic. But as I stated before I think a young boy would find it interesting.

I Love this movie God talk to me, how important it's to tell others about God's love, sometimes we don't need to say a lot but with out testimony.

I saw this movie with my son 25 years ago and we both enjoyed it. It is still a very good movie with great teaching ability. Good for the whole family.
