Well worth reading
Ravi Zacharias has again written a thought-provoking, faith- building book. This accomplished man, with his exceptional mind and deep faith has a God-given ability to reach out to those who are searching and to affirm the faith of those who are already believers. Thank you Ravi Zacharias.

Well put together book
Reading this book, I would say is like eating a delicate piece of chocolate. You want to finish it, but you also want to savour the moment. I never thought that Ravi's writing would be so capitvating as listening to him speak..God Bless you ...

Some might read this book for its deep philosophical and theological truths, but when I read this book I was looking for God to speak to me about a certain situation in my life. I was not disappointed. My favorite chapter was "The Cry to Feel My Faith". Zacharias challenges the reader to ask themselves what emotional trappings, prejudices, insecurities, and indiscipline have you brought to your relationship with God? He goes into great depth to answer this question, but to put it very simply Zacharias says at the end of the chapter, "Bring your feelings to the cross. Entrust them into his care, and he will guard them for you." I would recommend this book to anyone going through a time of suffering, or if you just have some basic questions about your relationship with God. Be prepared, however, to spend a little extra time reading this book it is deep!

This book will not disappoint the heart and soul that is seeking to understand the deep and difficult ways of God. There is no clear answer to why there is so much suffering and pain in life. I don't believe anyone has the answer to that, but the Lord Himself. Ravi Zachariah has put into words and stories a multitude of thought provoking ideas that help us better understand God and to bring us closer to realizing that God is God. His ways are higher than are ways. But also God's ways are all about Love for us.
