Deep & Wide is a very worthwhile read for every church in my opinion. Andy Stanley brings to light some of the most obvious elements of a Churches worship service and building/grounds that turn away visitors. While I think that most of the concepts are worthwhile things to consider, occasionally Andy suggests certain things that I felt were far from what Church is about. At times this model even feels like selling Jesus as a product that has been packaged to carefully not offend anyone at all, when in truth Christ never did this to himself. That aside though, Andy does challenge Church leadership to take a careful look at their service and building from the view of a visitor and consider how they can appear more inviting.

Though you may not agree with everything in the book, Andy Stanley will help you to think "outside the box" and to develop your own church strategy/mission. I plan to have my church leaders read this book to stretch their thinking about how we "do" church.

Having read many of Andy's other books, it was good to get a clear picture of what the heart behind NP's programming is. Daring to be different than the previous generation, Andy is reaching people no other church is. The reason? He is reaching people no one else is reaching because he is doing what no one else will do. Love the heart! Learn from someone in the trenches. Thank you Andy! Buy, Read, Digest, and Do!

Loved the book. It really made me stop and think if we are building our churches to minister to the unchurched or not.

I feel that it was written for those in a larger church setting but there were still a lot of thoughts and suggestions that churches of all sizes should HONESTLEY consider. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in ministering to everyone.(churched and unchurched).
