Each book in this series has more than 25 Bible lessons each with a story, memory verse, and discussion questions. But what will really cement God's message in you students' mind is the unique craft that accompanies each lesson. Kids will enjoy making these crafts -- and you can know that they will remember the Bible lessons when they proudly take the crafts home.
Make It -- Take It Bible Crafts use new ideas to teach biblical truths on five different themes:
-- Parables and Miracles -- Jesus parables and miracles are a treasure for teaching about God's love and care for them. Through stories, crafts, and activities, children are encouraged to apply these lessons to their lives.
-- Old Testament Heroes -- Children learn important lessons in character from Old Testament figures. Clever activities teach children to emulate heroic qualities such as reliability, persistence, and courage.
-- Animals -- The important characteristics that God gave to certain animals -- the industrious ant, cooperative oxen, etc. -- are used to teach and encourage children to seek their special talents and use them to God's glory.
-- Exploring Nature -- Teaches kids to trust and obey God by discovering the wonders of His creation.
-- Special Days -- Children will learn to focus on Godwith the unique crafts and activities developed specially for each season and holiday.
Beverly Newbold4 Stars Out Of 5June 4, 2010Beverly NewboldAlthough this is a reproducible activity book, I was not really thrilled with all of the material, especially for the older kids. It is intended for ages 5 -11 and I found it better suited to younger children. I will use some of object lessons for the smaller children. I will say that none of the activities are difficult to put together.
