A Cowboys Touch is the first book in Denise Hunters A Big Sky Romance series, but definitely isnt the first book I have ever read by her. I am a HUGE fan of Denises, and have been for quite some time, so I was excited to be able to continue reading more of her books. When I found I had some extra time to read whatever I wanted, I knew I absolutely had to read this series. So, I added it into my blog schedule, and next thing you know, Im reading this book! And, just like I expected, this book was fantastic! I absolutely love Denises books, so I expected as much, but I definitely didnt expect to love this one as much as I did!

Abigail Jones was not my favorite character throughout a decent amount of this book. Now, dont get me wrong, I liked her when I was first introduced to her at the beginning of the story. Its just that about midway through this novel, she makes a choice, a decision, that I am absolutely NOT okay with. The whole time, I was so scared she was going to ruin everything, so thats why I just couldnt love her the way I wanted to at first. I wanted to love her for who she was, and I do now, but it was just so difficult for me to get past the horrible mistakes she was making! But I guess it wouldnt have made for such a great novel if she hadnt made a few mistakes along the way!

Wade Ryan was definitely my favorite character in this novel. All through this book his struggle with the death of his wife is by far the most charming thing, and you cannot help but want everything to turn out well for him. As I made my way through the story, I couldnt help but want to take all his pain away from him and help him to realize that he couldnt always protect everyone, and that it wasnt his job to. The more I got to know him, the more I loved him, for his sweetness and compassion and love for his daughter. Basically I loved everything about him, and thats why it was so hard for me to love Abigail when everything was at stake.

All in all, I really, really loved this book, and Im super excited to read the rest of the series! I think the ending was my favorite part, but I really loved it all. I cant imagine not giving A Cowboys Touch all five bookshelves, especially since its now on my all-time favorites list. This book has definitely helped me to remember all the reasons why I love Denises writing, and Im so glad I decided to read it!

Workaholic Abigal Jones aka The Truth Seeker is a succesful columnist and is forced to take a well needed hiatas from her job. Her boss whom is her mother is concerned with her daughters health. She banishes her to her Aunt's home in Montana not only for her health but to check on her aunt because they fear that her aunt is slipping into dementia. But the kicker is her mother insists that Abigal is to stay there for three months.

The author, of course, has added a handsome widowed rancher, Wade Ryan owner of the Stillwater Ranch, as her aunt's neighbor. To top it off he has a darling daughter, Maddy that is in dire need of a women's infulence in her young life.

Lies and deception are strong in this story on both Abigal and Wade's side which creates any chance at friendship between the two, much less love.

I did not want to put this book down. Definitely one of my favorites.

      I highly recommend A Cowboy's Touch.

      I gladly give it a 5 out of 5.

I just finished this boook! Wow what a great read. I was so moved by the way the writer keep you hanging on and wondering what will transpire between Wade and Abigail. It had perfect background information on branding and cowboy work.

Wade was comfortable hiding from the public, but when

Abigail enters the picture as his daughter's nanny that

may no longer be the case. What will it cost for the truth

      to come out?
