Born in 1912 and reared in the ranch country of west Texas, Bill Rice pastored several churches, attended Moody Bible Institute, and was a full-time evangelist until he died in 1978. With his wife, he founded the Bill Rice Ranch, a ministry in Tennessee for the deaf that continues today.
