This is a very beautiful product that is a very great tool for meditative prayer. It truly makes me feel covered in the presence of the Almighty. However, there are a few minor problems. There are several loose strings in various places, and it does not quite fit into its carrying bag. Also, the tassels on the corners (tzitzit) are loose at the tips and are likely to fray quickly (however, this can be easily solved by tying a small knot at the end of each string to prevent further fraying). Minor defects aside, this is a great product with which I am very happy and am glad I got. Quality is pretty good, and if you're looking for something to help you focus in prayer, I would greatly recommend this New Covenant Prayer Shawl!
Quality is superb. The Tzitzit's on the 4 corners, which are the braided strings, are to remind us of God's Laws to Moses. The Prayer Shawl should be worn during prayer at daytime. It shouldn't be worn at night, except on Yom Kippur when it is worn, as a token of special reverence for the holy day, during the night service of Kol Nidrei. As a Messianic Jew I am familiar with the Tallis and pass this info along as reference. If it be your desire to wear it at Night Time Prayer as a Christian that is also ok. I love the Messianic Roots Symbol, both on The Tallis and the Storage Zipper Bag.
