What a wonderful witness! Shared it with friends from church and everyone loved it. Passing it around to families now.

Laughed till my side hurt, and cried just as often. Everyone really should buy this DVD.

The reveiw says it is "good". I guess it is the actors and singers do an excellent job - I just question some of the 'cutsey clever way of making the story- up to date.

We've been watching this in video form for years! It isn't Easter until we've watched Cotton Patch Gospel. Harry Chapin's music is upbeat, and toe tapping fun. The musical talent of the quartet that back's up Tom Key's performance is top notch. And Tom Key's acting in incredible. This is a great way to see the ageless Gospel stories in a brand new way.

I have always loved this and managed to pick up the VHS when it was available more than a few years ago -- the cassette too, through the Chapin estate. Glad to find it on DVD.The audience gives evidence that this is not a new recording, but the quality is good and the message...timeless.
