too dark for some children who have not been exposed to Perretti's type of writings; I returned book for the first book in the Red Rock series. much more appropriate for my grandson.

My 11 year old son absolutely loves these books. They are adventurous and full of suspense, but not too scarey. There is reference to scripture in the stories and the Cooper Kids often seek biblical guidance. They're wonderful for my son - he likes to read, but is picky about his books.

I read this book when I was a child and loved it. I was very excited to give it as a gift to my nephew. He was very intrigued by the title and cannot wait to read it.

We gave the first three books in the series to our 11 year old nephew. He is excited to get more.

This book was definitely interesting and character's were realistic and Christianly was wonderfully portrayed, but I didn't quite care for the book because it wasn't realistic enough. Other than that the book is great.
