When teenagers Jay and Lila Cooper and their archaeologist father travel to Nepur, an uninviting land of deserts and danger, they must search to uncover the truth behind an ancient legend. Locals claim that inside a dark cavern called the Dragon's Throat is a forbidden door that brings certain death to anyone who tries to open it.
Armed with the knowledge that God is more powerful than any legend or curse, Jay and Lila plunge down into the Dragon's Throat, determined to find out what awaits them on the other side of the door. This daring tale will have you on the edge of your seat. Recommended for ages 10 to 14, 125 pages.

plp3 Stars Out Of 5a little misleadingDecember 26, 2014plpQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 1too dark for some children who have not been exposed to Perretti's type of writings; I returned book for the first book in the Red Rock series. much more appropriate for my grandson.
J. Sokownin5 Stars Out Of 5February 4, 2011J. SokowninMy 11 year old son absolutely loves these books. They are adventurous and full of suspense, but not too scarey. There is reference to scripture in the stories and the Cooper Kids often seek biblical guidance. They're wonderful for my son - he likes to read, but is picky about his books.

CMR4 Stars Out Of 5March 6, 2009CMRThis book was definitely interesting and character's were realistic and Christianly was wonderfully portrayed, but I didn't quite care for the book because it wasn't realistic enough. Other than that the book is great.
