Cool Hand Luke plays rock and roll the likes of which you have never heard before. Easily sidestepping exact musical labels, they combine driving, head nodding rock music with beautiful melodies, pleasing the ears of both indie snob elitist and the average music loving layman. They have made a name for themselves with their intense, not to mention tight, live show, which has been known to consistently win over new crowds night after night.

Let me start out by saying that very few bands that come from the genre of indie rock/emo catch my attention. This is due to the lack of originality, and meaninglessness of lyrics. If one band renews my liking for the genre, it is Cool Hand Luke. Not only do they have flawless guitar and percussion work, they do not shove their beliefs in the background to gain mainstream approval. This trio loves the Lord with their every being and it shines through in their heartfelt lyrics. I love every song on the disc, and I cannot wait for their next release. I also recommend: Number One Gun, Anathallo, and The Evan Anthem.
