CindyJohor, MalaysiaAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great book of Q&A with God for women!September 13, 2011CindyJohor, MalaysiaAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5When I first opened the package, I found the book cover very sweet and the arrangement of the topics very fascinating, though a bit heavy to be brought around with me. I liked the idea that the questions of life for women are being answered in different point-of-views, and in between the lives of holy women were inserted for our reading. I felt the presence of personal touch on my life, and it was easy to go through the topics.
I first read the topics which meant a lot in my life, then left the book for a while before I went through other parts. The overall experience was great and I'd recommend this book to be read by my lady friends. I passed my copy to my friend so that she too can bless others after she reads it.
HopeDayton, OhioAge: Under 18Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Four Stars! Nicely Written!May 16, 2011HopeDayton, OhioAge: Under 18Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4This book by Marcia Ford is an adult women's non-fiction about all the things women these days wonder, divided in seven sections:
Good and Evil
Each section has around ten questions, pretty much all are VERY useful. The book answers many questions, including:
How are we made in Your image?
How can Your Spirit live in us?
Who's controlling our lives--- You or us?
Why was a virgin birth necessary?
Which Biblical promises apply to us today?
Is there a purpose to life?
How do we know what You want?
Can we ever be free of guilt?
God, do you really forgive and forget?
What's so bad about gossip?
Why are there restrictions on sex?
Why do Your followers have to suffer?
There are so many more amazing questions that I can't say now, because I don't want to make this post super long.
Many people have many questions that they would love to ask God, and this book answered nearly all of mine! The plot and everything for this book is visible in the title, which I love! If you have questions to ask God that you just don't know how to ask or never really thought about, you REALLY, REALLY want this book!
This book was very well written. The questions are questions that women would really ask, the answers aren't too difficult to understand, and I'm sure that ANYONE would absolutely LOVE this amazing book, whether you're twelve years old or twenty-three years old, I guarantee, this will be a book you'll never want to return to the library! The library will have to keep fining you and fining you until the police come up to your door and force you to return it. This book is simply that good.
Here's a tip: Don't judge a book by it's cover or genre. I'd imagined this book would be very boring and drawn-out with extremely long chapters because it is for an older audience of women, and it's non-fiction. But, I was WAY wrong. This is one of my favorite books! Great for women with a busy schedule, because the chapters are only three and a half pages long! This same book is also great for women with a relaxed schedule, because there are 55 chapters, PLUS in the back, there are notes that go along with the scriptures quoted and everything. It is an absolutely perfect book for a teen girls or adult women Bible Study.
One complaint: Some questions were a little bit obvious for Christian women, like "Did You physically rise from the dead?" and "Did all those miracles really happen?" These questions (and more) aren't obvious for non-Christian women who weren't raised in the church, but as for the ones that have been Christians for awhile now, these questions seemed a little dry.
Overall, this book totally deserves four and a half stars out of five! I recommend this for adult women and their teenage daughters to use as a mother-daughter Bible Study.

Through the conversation feel of the book, Marcia Ford attempts to respond to the questions by using scripture in a not so typical manner. The result is a book with dialogue between the reader and a few known characters of the bible as well as God and Jesus themselves according to the Holy Word.
I was very pleased with this book. The author does a great job of making you really feel like you are sitting at a table having a chat with the people of the Bible. You can easily create an image of the scene in your head. Many of the questions are very typical of female curiosity yet Ford has responded in a way that is not completely what you would expect while staying true to what the implications seem to be in the Bible. A few of the questions are kind of "no brainers" and tempt you to skip over that one, but for the most part you can still gain extra perspective from them. It is also a book that can be beneficial to have for further study or to help when interacting within women's groups or teen girl studies. Definitely worth reading.

If you could ask God any question what would it be? This book lets you have an insight as to what that would be like. It's such an easy read and so thought provoking. All the answers to the questions the women ask are from God (backed up with scripture reference), Jesus, or from other women in the Bible. It really was hard to put down. I loved it and I'm sure that you would too. It's geared toward women, but my husband even liked it. Good conversation starters!! Did I mention that I love the "Springy" cover!! I'm on a Spring kick and I'm loving this Spring weather!!!!!

This book is compiled of 55 questions that women are most likely to ask with answers from "God", "Jesus", and other biblical persons. Questions are posed such as "What can Bible women teach us?" and "What about women in ministry?" and answers based on scripture are provided in first-person responses from "God", "Jesus", and others.
While I liked the idea of the book and the questions that were asked, I was uncomfortable with the responses from the start. Although Ford offers answers based on scripture, there was far too many personal views and opinions injected from the author as to what the answers "might" be. I do enjoy reading others' interpretations of scripture however I am very uncomfortable with writings being portrayed as God's word when they are not taken directly from the word. This book was disappointing to me mostly because I feel it could have been great if the author relied solely on the source for all answers.
The book seems to be geared toward the novice or beginner in bible studies, which is great, but I felt that it was lacking in more advanced teachings.
This is an easy read with thought-provoking questions however I would suggest looking to the bible for the clear answers to the questions posed. I would not recommend this book strictly because of my uneasiness concerning the way it was written.
