I would purchase it all over again!
I found the material covered in the book delivered in just the right quantity for me to use it at night before I go to sleep. It is good getting information that you can believe in, coming from fellow sufferers. I am starting back into it a second time to reinforce what I got from it the first time through the material.

Excellent book!
I was very impressed with the content and direction these christian professionals took in dealing with depression. Their "Life Filters" are a positive way to concentrate on God's healing of depression.

Personally I didn't find the book that helpful. One main reason is because I thought it just give me a list of dos and donts. The last thing a depressed person needs is a list of things to do. What I really look for in a book is to be more real and more discussions of everyday battle of this disease. Maybe then I can relate more. Anywho its just my humble opinion.
On the flip side I do appreciate that these guys decided to write about it in general. This is a topic thats often skipped over in church but is such a problem in the body of Christ.

Great book.
I think this a perfect book for people like me who suffer with deppression. There are alot of books on deppression that are good also but this one helps you with spiritual empowerment from God. You come to learn that God is not punishing you and that we actually become strong when we are weak. It gives you a few scriptures to look at each day and helps you to realize that God is with us even during these times! I thinks it's also great that this was written a pysician that has suffered with deppression. Not just some dr. who was never had deppression and just pushes meds. Great book, I now that God is with me and I will conquer this deppression. God Bless!!!
