This was not exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for individual cubes that are used for counting. These are not individual. They are rods with markings showing how many cubes make up that rod. These are also smaller than I was hoping for. If I had seen a picture of the item outside of the wrapping/container, I would not have purchased this exact item. Or if the description had been a little better, it would have been more helpful.

I don't care for the plastic as much as the wooden rods, but I like that they connect and that they have grooves in them to help them understand the concept of fractions and such.These seem suited well for younger children (grades K-3)
