It is deep yet understandable. Dr. Towns has done an admirable job in providing a resource that works very well with both young people and those new to the faith. The setup of this book is such that one could teach one chapter per week for a year. Also each chapter contains a daily Scripture reference pertaining to the subject matter for devotions and/or memorization. I would highly recommend this book.
