I wanted to find a Hebrew names translation of the Bible, but this far exceeded what I was looking for. With not only Hebrew names, but also Hebrew titles and concepts in Hebrew transliterations. Thank-you! And praise be to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Reading the Bible from a Jewish standpoint is much more enlightening than plain english translations. The original manuscripts were written by Jewish/Hebrew followers of Yeshua/Jesus. Every word in the Hebrew language is a story in itself. In the english language we use the same words for many different words and much truth is missed by this practice. I believe we need to read writing from a Hebrew perspective to understand the true intended meaning of the Bible as it was written. Too many 'truths' in the varying translations of the english Bibles. I believe ONE TRUTH was the intention of God.

Love this Bible. Love that it is coming from the place where it all began so one has a better insight into the origional meaning of some of the words. Love the Hebrew words also. There is something indescribeably beautiful in the Hebrew language.....God breathed I think....Love this Bible!

I bought this edition of the Complete Jewish Bible so that I could be informed about Jewish beliefs and customs as they relate to the bible. I wanted to know how we thought differently about biblical events and to try to understand the Jewish take on things.
