I love the African Bible Commentary. I did give one to my pastor. In Africa, people realize the reality of the spiritual world and so, this book give us more insight into the whole reality of bible AND our personal life here on earth.

yes, I really cherish this book as my second bible ... *smile*

I was surprised how fresh and insightful this one volume commentary is compared to the volumes I have of commentary sets I presently and have previously owned. Well worth your investment. Seeing through the eyes of another culture other than a western mind set- priceless.

I have many commentaries, however, this one is the most resourceful, especially to African-American pastors and ministers. I believe that all African and people of color should have this in their library.
