Jesus is inviting you, "Come to Me."
In a world where anxiety and chaos reign, its easy to forget the simplicity, the fun, the excitement of being in a close relationship with Jesus. Whether you are emotionally drained, spiritually hungry, or just looking for some fresh inspiration, its time to Come, Sit, Stay . . . and rest in His presence.
"Ellen Vaughns book is a refreshing invitation to consider Christs tender words to the weary and a balm for our disquieted souls."
DR. RAVI ZACHARIAS

"Ive always loved Jesus invitation to come to Him and find rest for our souls. This refreshing book is a great tool to understand more deeply the radical rest that only Jesus can give, and the shimmering, eternal perspective that can actually bring deep peace, right in the midst of our busy days."

Mamamissy5 Stars Out Of 5Come, Sit, StayFebruary 3, 2015MamamissyI LOVE THIS BOOK! Cannot say enough good things about it. Ellen Vaughn really struck a chord with me as she described Sabbath Rest. Great book on a much-needed topic in our hectic lives.
Janet4 Stars Out Of 5Down to earthDecember 14, 2014JanetQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4I agree with Irene. I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from reading this book and would happily loan it to a friend with one caveat - fluidity of thought through good editing could have been improved. Ellen is transparent and doesn't mind laying her heart out. Her struggles are many of my own. I appreciate her goal implied in the title and will probably reread the book. A comfort and encouragement nonetheless.
IreneUnited States4 Stars Out Of 5Real Life ExamplesJuly 1, 2012IreneUnited StatesQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4The premise of this book is that we all need to spend time alone with the Lord. The author uses Biblical and real life examples to show ways to strengthen our relationship.
The author reminds us that in this world where everything is right at our fingertips and we are all in a hurry we are commanded in the Bible to sit still. If we take the time to really study the Bible and spend time alone in prayer we will understand how the Lord is directing our lives.
Parts of this book were cumbersome and took me awhile to get through. I think the whole book could have been edited better. That said I still gave the book a 4/5 stars. The information given will help you if you are feeling like you need help in your personal walk with the Lord.
I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.
