They are simple black and white cards but I'm really happy that I ordered them. It's true that you could make your own out of index cards but these have pictures on the back as well. I know my son will also enjoy the pictures and that will in turn help him to remember the blends.

There is nothing special about them otherwise.
Rachel3 Stars Out Of 5February 28, 2010RachelThese cards are nice to go along with the books, but I feel they are way over-priced for what you get. A person could just as easily buy a set of blank cards for about a dollar and make your own with the sounds on them as your child learns them.
