This CD includes:
A Diagnostic Test
Video Lectures: Each of the twenty lessons begins with a video lecture that teaches topics step-by-step on a digital whiteboard. Watching the lecture, students take notes and work problems, pausing and rewinding as needed.
Practice Problems with Video Solutions: Each lecture is followed by up to twenty practice problems to reinforce understanding. Step-by-step video solutions to each practice problem are included.
Computer Based Practice Exams: 2 CLEP and 2 AP exams are included for practice after completing the recommended lessons. Scores are automatically calculated, and students can easily review missed problems; a video solution is also included. The AP exams have a section that must be completed on paper. Each question on the practice exam is referenced to the CLEP Professor lesson where the topic was taught, allowing students to quickly review a missed concept. Each title contains two or three practice exams, giving students ample opportunity for content mastery.
Pre-requisites: Completion of High School Calculus (Saxon Calculus, 2nd ed.) The CLEP and AP Calculus AB exams cover material normally taught in a one-semester college course in calculus. Students pursuing a non-science college major should consider CLEP Calculus, while science and engineering students should consider the AP Calculus AB and BC exams (NOTE: CLEP Professor does not prepare students for the BC Exam).
