Well Writtedn Adventures
My siblings (ages 10 & 13) love these books. I'm their book previewer, and these books are great. I'm a harsh critic when it comes to books - especially adventure books. But these are awesome in every aspect. From the story line, to the characters, to the morals, these books are extremely well written. Many authors try to "tell" you about the character; Susan Marlow "shows" you their character. In fact, you feel like you know them.
These books aren't for girls only. My brother is 13 and has thoroughly enjoyed these books. Yes, the main character is a girl, but the series has a strong male presence in the form of her 3 brothers and her friend, Cory.

My daughter has been reading Susan Marlows Andrea Carter: Circle C Adventure Series for the past year and has enjoyed them immensely. The books are engaging, very entertaining and well written. I think the content and story lines are believable and are morally sound. They have also encouraged my daughter in her own creative writing. She aspires to be a writer like Susan someday, and is currently on that pursuit. I highly recommend all of Susans books. And we are looking forward to the when the next one is published.

The Circle C Adventure series is a breath of fresh, western air and deserves a place in every home and library. Twelve-year-old Andrea Carter is as mischievous and endearing as Anne of Green Gables, and Laura, in Little House on the Prairie. Her escapades include nearly running down the new schoolmaster in a horse race down Main Street of Fresno in the 1880s, and encountering trouble in spite of her best efforts. A delightful series for kids from 8 to 80 and above!100% recommended.Colleen L. Reece, Author of 140 "Books You Can Trust," 5 million copies sold.
