The hymn book is ok, but it was not really what I wanted. It does not have some specific hymns I was looking for, and I didn't want the music things just the lyrics.

About 1/2, or more, of these songs are from 1900 to 1950. Many songs refer to Christ's second coming and eternal life. Gives us insights into what Christians were thinking and singing during the time of WWI, the great depression, and WWII. Many traditional hymns and songs are included, such as "Bringing In the Sheaves", "Rock of Ages", and "Jesus Loves Me." I don't know many of the songs but I like the lyrics. Many songs remind me of the type Gaither Homecoming crew would sing.

The hymnal is okay for the price. I thought it would be a little bigger.

The Senior Citizens group at my church uses this book and they absolutely love it!

I would like you to know that I have played out of this book for years. You just can't get any other book as good as this one. When you even attend churches in other states most of them have this book. I'm trying to get some donated from a church that doesn't use them and then will be ordering more. Praise the Lord for the hard work you put into putting this hymnal together.
