Help those in grades two through five to better understand what it means to be committed to and involved in the local church. Designed for students to be able work through these pages on their own with parents or teachers available for questions along the way. Pages alternate between teaching and activity-styled format and are focused on bringing a response from the student.
In the Church Workbook, the student will learn what church is and why we go. The distinction is made between simply the building that is sometimes called a church, and the real church made up of believers. They will understand what it means to be a living part of the Church that Jesus built. Also illustrated are the activities at church and why they are important. Activities include a crossword puzzle, maze, coloring page and true and false questions. Perfect for use in Sunday school, Bible clubs, midweek programs, children s church and even at home with a parent. The Church wordbook, designed especially for kids in grades 2-5 by Richard Todd, is most beneficial when used in combination with the other wordbooks in the series: Salvation, Baptism, Giving and Communion. In the Church Workbook, the student will learn what a church is, what happens at church, what it means to be a part of a church, who can join a church and how to join a church. This series of Children's Wordbooks features important topics that will help kids grow in their faith.
