Susan L.4 Stars Out Of 5December 5, 2009Susan L.I bought this companion expecting a lot. I have the Lion, Witch, & Wardrobe companion book and it is simply wonderful. This one is wonderful as well, but there are a few disappointments. Mainly, the binding is not as strong as the LWW companion and split down the middle after I read it a few times. Also, the chapters detailing the four actors who play the Pevensies weren't as long as the ones in LWW, as the book had to make room for new members of the cast; and the entire book itself is still shorter than the LWW companion. However, it is a wonderful read, lots of great pictures and the design is beautiful. It includes a chapter each of William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley, Ben Barnes, Sergio Castellitto, Peter Dinklage, and Warwick Davis, as well as paragraphs about the minor supporting actors. Also included are chapters detailing the magnificent sets, costumes, Weta Workshop's involvement,CGI work/special effects, the sound and music, and translating the story from stage to screen, the widespread locations, a foreword from director Andrew Adamson and afterword by Ben Barnes.

Anna5 Stars Out Of 5April 3, 2008AnnaThis was an amazingly wonderful book! If you are a fan of the Narnia movies than this is a must-get! It was loaded with wonderful pictures of the cast, movie, and crew. It also had chapeters dedicated to the 4 actors who play the Pevensies and prince Caspian. Anna Popplwell's (Susan) section tells how acting in the Narnia movies has been like a fairytale come true story for her. William Mosely (Peter) tells how he enjoyed doing all his epic stunts and sword fights. Skandar Keynes (Edmund) Tells how he loves music and Georgie Henley (Lucy) tells how she enjoys writing and has written some books. It also has many pages devoted to the new cast member, Ben Barnes who plays Prince Caspian. This book also has wonderful chapeters on how they designed the huge sets, the beatiful costumes, the magnificant weapons, and how they found their new cast members. I loved this book and if you love the narnia movies than you will too1
