Product Description

Prepare to enter another world as Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media present C.S. Lewis's timeless and beloved adventure. With stunningly realistic special effects, you'll experience the exploits of Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter, four siblings who find the world of Narnia through a magical wardrobe while playing a game of hide-and-seek at the country estate of a mysterious professor. Once there, the children discover a charming, once peaceful land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs, and giants that has been turned into a world of eternal winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis. Aided by the wise and magnificent lion, Aslan, the children lead Narnia into a spectacular, climactic battle to be free of the Witch's glacial powers forever! Fullscreen. Rated PG.

I loved this movie. It gave the message of the gospel in a very clear manner. I did not have a problem with any part of this movie.

Well, I must say, this was my all time favorite movie until Prince Caspian came out. The message is well brought out, and only the witch's team uses magic (except for one part during the battle, which I thought that they shouldn't have put in; the part where the good guys use magic I mean, not the battle, because I loved the battle). The special effects were spectacular, especially the opening scene of the battle, and Aslan was awesome. They got the perfect actor to play his voice.

A great movie! when my family and I heard about Disney making The Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe,we didn't know for sure what that would be like! My whole family loved it,and it followed the book for the most part.I have heard some people say it is not a Christian movie...But it WAS a Christian book! It is sad how people think that way.I suppose they did not make the message as strong as it could be,in the movie, and I was disappointed in how the dryad told Edmund and Peter how Aslan was dead! That was not in the book. Peter or Edmund did not know about that. Well, besides this it was my FAVORITE movie. If only if they had gotten the message a little stronger!

I enjoyed this movie very much. It has adventure in it. It is also has a very strong moral message. It is a portraying of the gospels in a form that anyone can understand.

"The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" was definitely a good movie. It closely followed the novel and was well-directed, well-made, and pretty much perfectly cast. The actors for Peter and Lucy hit the mark brilliantly, and Edmund was just as I pictured him - they made Susan much more cynical and "logical" in the movie in comparison to the way she is presented in the books - but that was pretty much the only thing I disliked. I didn't find it to be full of witchcraft...; the whole story is a fantasy and obviously the idea of a "witch" and her magical powers is meant to be presented as within the fantasy. The message of Aslan/Jesus was painted very well inside the allegory so that viewers can see how it relates to reality but it is still a very good fantasy movie. I thought the effects were great although they should have made Aslan a little bigger and more... lionish. It resembled the book very closely, for which I was glad, and I will definitely be seeing "Prince Caspian" when it comes out next spring.

This movie is absolutely amazing!!! It really wasn't "full of witchcraft", like I was expecting. Aslan is definitely a "Lion like Lamb" with tough and gentle ways. Susan should have been a bigger character though. Peter was so cool, Edmond was annoying but had his moments, and Lucy was adorable. Definitely a movie to watch.
