Andreola ReviewWhen I was a little girl, I remember my dad reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe to me at night. He used a variety of voices and rather interesting sound effects to bring the story to life and transport me into the world of Narnia.
That is exactly what Focus on the Family has done in their true-to-the-book dramatizations of The Chronicles of Narnia. When my dad gave me the CD set for Christmas, Ill admit what first caught my attention was that actor David Suchet plays the part of Aslan the Great Lion. Suchet also stars in the role of Hercule Poirot in a series of famous British mystery shows I like. The rest of the talented cast, combined with music and realistic sounds, make the stories intriguing, suspenseful, and believable. As you may know, C.S. Lewis wrote the Chronicles as allegories of the Christian life and as explorations into spiritual truth. This is not overlooked in the CDs, which makes each of the stories both fun and entertaining for young listeners and a bit deeper and thought-provoking for maturing hearts and minds. Includes all seven stories adapted for theater. Over 22 hours, on 19 CDs. Yolanda Product ReviewsProduct Q&AOther Customers Also PurchasedFind Related Products
