    What was your motivation behind this project?  I wanted to see what happened with Todd and Christy! Readers all over the world kept writing me and asking, "Are Todd and Christy ever going to get married?!!!" The only way to find out was to open up my imagination and tell a new story so that's what I did.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  As with every book I write, my prayer is that readers will find themselves somewhere in the story and that their hearts will softened toward the Lord and that they will turn to Him.

    How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I cried so much! These characters feel very real to me.

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Lately I've been reading The Message and have loved hearing God's Word in a fresh, new voice.

    Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  THE STORY DOESN'T END HERE! After many years of waiting for the Lord to nudge me to the next story about these characters, I finally started writing the Katie Weldon Series. I have loved being back with this circle of imaginary friends! The first book in the Katie Weldon Series is "Peculiar Treasures" followed by "On A Whim" (releasing fall, 2008) The first page of "Peculiar Treasures" begins right after where the last page of "I Promise" ended. Wheeeeee! Fun, friends, romance and a bit of adventure. I hope you jump in and enjoy the stories!
