This book is very pretty. On the one hand it is a children's book telling the Christmas story in words and pictures. Periodically it will have a page where it asks a question and leaves the rest of the pages with lines to write a response.

I would have liked these give-away books to be slightly different than the one that comes with the cookie cutters. If the purpose is to make the cookies and give one of these books with the cookies to others, then the book should have just the story. Instead these also have the page "Use your cookie cutters to share Jesus' love." I find this a little awkward when I consider that I want to make and give these cookies to non-Christians.

This is a nice booklet for grade-school girls. Christmas symbols (eg., bell, angel, tree) are used to tell the Christmas story. Scripture passages are included, followed by thought questions. A sugar cookie recipe is also included.
