Product Description

This book is a Christian response to the events of September 11, 2001, written for a general Christian audience from the Lutheran point-of-view. It shows that the Islamic challenge, promulgated by terrorism, makes this conflict religious in nature. Veith warns against useless or worthless responses, such as responding from a platform of generic religion or secularism. He points to Jesus Christ as our one hope, and outlines the duties of each Christian citizen concerning this crisis.

This book reinforced some thoughts about today's Christian behavior, and caused revision of others. I think it's a good guide to how Christians relate and live in today's world. I still haven't decided about the ending, but I don't think it's important. The rest of the book was very helpful.
