Readable defense of Christianity
January 27, 2014
This covers a defense of Christianity without becoming overwhelming. Especially good is the discussion of evil, atheism, the existence of God, and the discussions of Eastern religions. (The first author was a former Hindu.) The often humorous drawings sparked my teenager's interest. Perhaps because it is an update of a 1980's New Zealand book, it does not have many web references. Also, sometimes I thought some of the quotes had too much of an "appeal to authority" feel (perhaps more important in Eastern cultures.) The book hardly deals with archeology/history and the Bible on King David and before. So it is probably not be enough for a skeptic on that issue. Otherwise it is very good. The book uses high quality paper.
