Writing the essential reference guide for Christian women of every age, Farhart and King make use of the most current research to explain everything women need to know about their bodies from puberty to menopause and beyond, including alternative therapies, diagnostic suggestions, and the latest recommendations for physical exams. Unlike some medical reference books, the tone here is reassuring, not scary, and targets the underserved Christian segment of the female population. Paperback.

Tell us a little about yourself. I am a Christian OB/GYN who has been in practice for twenty years. I am an elder at Cornerstone Church under the leadership of Pastor John Hagee. This is my second book, the first being "Intimate and Unashamed: God's Design for Sexual Fulfillment".
What was your motivation behind this project? I want Christian women to have a safe place to seek answers to questions about their health from a reliable source that also respects their values.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I want them to gain knowledge about their bodies and the changes that occur from puberty through menopause.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I realized how often women are reluctant to ask their doctors questions, especially those questions they find embarrassing.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Diana Hagee first encouraged me to talk about sexual issues in the church; Dr. Don Colbert showed me that a physician can have a private practice and be a national author at the same time.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I have written my books in a way that is easy to understand and takes the confusion away from complicated medical issues. I have included stories of patient's lives to help the reader see where this information applies to them.
