Great Product for the Price
We have just completed our first unit and are really enjoying this curriculum. Our pros are: It can be used with multilevel kids, short lessons but can be expanded, easy to find books at the library, great illustrations and maps to do hands on work with. Our cons are: there are pages to be copied in the back of the book for almost every lesson. They are a ton of vocabulary words to learn-you'll need to pick and choose. Overall, I am glad we made this purchase. We just made planet earth from Lesson 2. The recipe worked for the play dough and it came out great. A very fun experience!

I have never been so happy with a science curriculum. It is easily taught and the kids love it!! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to implement science in their homeschool. I only wish now I had not waited so long to find it!

Awesome curriculum. It is a thorough covering of the material from a Christian perspective. Well written, comprehensive, and engaging.

These "Christian Kids Explore..." books are excellent. The best advice I can give you is to buy all of the books in this series (there are 4: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth & Space) at once, and alternate them (do 1 unit in one book, then a unit in another, etc.) This will prevent you from getting burned out on studying the same subject for the whole year; also with this method for about a hundred bucks you will have about four years of science covered. I love these books because they present a formal study of science, with the vocabulary words and quizzes and all that, but it also has fun experiments the kids enjoy, and it's all from a Christian perspective. Highly recommended!!
