What a wonderful Scripture-based volume, with language updated from the original, 350 years ago! Truly an eye-opener about the spiritual battle constantly going on, and the role of the Christian in that war. The issues could come straight from today's headlines or sermons. These 365 selections from the larger work are poignant, and although written from a Puritan perspective, are highly applicable to today. A challenging classic for those serious about living the Christian life.
