This book does not play around with the facts about Yoga.
It is a Hindu based religion. Most clients and instructors are not informed of its foundation and occult attachment and the serious dangers that can come upon those who participate in Yoga. It gives the truth without compromise. Amen to that.
The word of God say My People are Destroyed because of Lack of Knowledge. David Hunts message in this book exposes the deception and hidden assignment behind Yoga. The exercises alone are worship to false Gods. The intention of Yoga is not natural. You are opening your mind and your body to demonic attack and it's sad because we can be ignorant of Satan's cunning devices. This device is so popular and no one reads in to the truth and consequences behind it that can infect and damage your life forever unless you get deliverance and turn away from it. Only those whose eyes are opened to the truth will understand this book. It's not to attack anyone personally. This is to bring knowledge of the truth according to God's word.Thank God for this message and hope that many will review and do their research and come to understand the truth for themselves - I pray for them Lord touch their minds. God bless you all.
After practicing yoga for over 6 months and being a fully committed follower of Christ, I believe that David Hunt misses the mark of 1 Corinthians 6:12: "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything." Hunt's own experiences in his past have made him cynical. Christians need to discern things first through the Bible, which is the filter of a spirit -filled Christians life. However, yoga's version of meditation is a far cry from the Christian viewpoint. Besides I focus on the Lord through hymns and praise songs than through an Eastern chant.
This is a well written book, but I believe the author has somewhat missed the mark in his research. Yoga as a whole package is dangerous as you will learn in depth. However, it seems to me that he has slightly missed the mark. The physical exercises done in yoga in and of themselves are not of the devil. The danger lies in the meditation portion and in the attempting to stop your mind from thinking. There is great information in here for anyone wanting to learn more about the hidden origins of yoga and why some aspects are dangerous. Just don't forget to use your own judgement that God has given you about what is good and true and about what is wrong.
