While some books offer a biblical approach to marriage issues and others address practical matters, it is rare to find one that addresses both with equal measure. In The Christ-Shaped Marriage, Russell D. Moore begins by recognizing how Christian marriage reflects something at the very fabric of the universe: the union between Christ and his church. So it is no wonder marriage can be so difficult -- it is a standing ground where demonic powers rage against the icon of the gospel they so despise.

 Russell D. Moore is dean of the School of Theology and senior vice president for Academic Administration at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, where he also serves as professor of Christian Theology and Ethics. He is the author of several books including The Kingdom of Christ, Adopted for Life, and Tempted and Tried. Moore and his wife have five sons.
