Is there credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God? Retracing his own spiritual journey from atheism to faith, Lee Strobel, former legal editor of the Chicago Tribune, cross-examines a dozen experts with doctorates from schools like Cambridge, Princeton, and Brandies who are recognized authorities in their fields. Strobel challenges them with questions like How reliable is the New Testament? Does evidence exist for Jesus outside the Bible? Is there any reason to believe the resurrection was an actual event? Strobel's tough, point-blank questions make this remarkable book read like a captivating, fast-paced novel. But it's not fiction. It's a riveting quest for the truth about history's most compelling figure. What will your verdict be in The Case for Christ?
Lee Strobel was the award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune and is the best-selling author of The Case for Faith, The Case for Christ, and The Case for a Creator, all of which have been made into documentaries by Lionsgate. With a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Studies in Law degree from Yale, Lee wrote 3 Gold Medallion winners and the 2005 Book of the Year with Gary Poole. He and his wife live in Colorado. Visit Lee's website at: www.leestrobel.com.

It dispels some of the myths that as Christians we may have come to believe and settles doubts about the authenticity of the Resurrection and Gospels. I would highly recommend it for anyone who may have doubts.
Jim Austin5 Stars Out Of 5April 4, 2008Jim AustinA very strong witness for Our Lord. This should be on the shelf of every pastor and presented to every doubter we know.
Jeremy Gardiner5 Stars Out Of 5February 10, 2007Jeremy GardinerAbsolutely excellent apologetics material. Josh McDowell's "Evidence that Demands a Verdict" is more of a reference book where as "The Case for Christ" is a very readable and entertaining book. Provides a solid foundation for Christians who can stand firm against Atheists, Agnostics, Skeptics and the Jesus Seminar. My only complaint is they explained the "Didn't Jesus say he was coming back in the 1st Century" away when infact Premillenialism has to sweep it under the carpet. For those wanting to find the correct answer to that question search out Preterism.
