Bosworth's book gives a clear and compelling picture of God's healing power. Bosworth answers many of the objections people have today for not believing in divine healing as in the atoning work of Christ. The book will be helpful to all those wanting to build and exercise their faith for their own healing or those they pray for.
This is a foundational work on Christ's ever-present activity for healing all His children. The thorough exposition and the compelling argumentation are enhanced by the author's extensive healing and pastoral ministries. The newly added comments by his son are enlightening and put the book in the context of the great healing ministry which was his father's.
Bosworth provides Scriptures and real-life experiences of healing to show that God still miradculously heals. The reader should be a Berean and take the Scripture that Bosworth lists and go to the Bible and read the Scripture in context, as he sometimes takes the Scripture out of context. Even so, this book was the catalyst for my unlearning what I had been taught--that miracles were only for the first years of the church. The more Scripture and books I read, I realized that God would heal me. God miraculously healed me, and Christ the Healer began my journey towards that healing.
