Mary Beth Chapman gives the reader an honest and transparent look at her life- her vulnerability, weaknesses, mistakes. She shares her hurt and joys, her love and fears. Be ready to grieve with her and laugh with her. Great book.

What a great story of faith and perseverance. It also shows that everyone goes through something, the important thing is how we go through it. Thank God for His grace in time of need.

The first word in the title says it all; the Chapmans CHOSE to see God's plan and goodness in the midst of their tragedy, and continue to CHOOSE to see it as they follow through. Real people, gifted by and committed to God who is their resource and sustainer relating with poignancy the story of the loss of their child and the struggles that follow. Well written and honest; an encouragement to any Believer.
