A little disappointed
I was really excited when I ordered the surprise pack. When it arrived in the mail and I opened it with my children (ages 7,4 and 15 months) we were all more then a little disappointed. Mostly everything in the box was meant for a much older child/teen girl. I think the idea of a surprise box is wonderful. It would be even better if you could choose age and gender you are ordering for. Until then I will not be ordering another one.

Pretty Good.
Overall I am happy with this purchase. The items in the box were not worth over 85.00, but were well worth the 9.99 I paid. A few of the items were not for children and were books for parents. There was one book I tossed because it was halloween book and we do not do halloween in my house. Other than that It did have some good things I will be able to use for my sunday school gifts. There were two Bible DVDS, some silly bands, a good slection of books and family conversation blow up balls. I will be purchasing this again. I will serve my purpose. I can alwyas us the books that were not for kids as gifts.

I have to say I was a little disappointed.I was hoping to use the items as stocking stuffers for my 10 and 11 year old girls.What arrived though was mostly books and all the items were for preschoolers and for adults.

Great Value
I purchased this to split between my kids as stocking stuffers, and it ended up being perfect for that need. My kids range in age between 1 and 10 years old, and there was something for each of them. With the exception of one book, all of the items were gender neutral. It worked out perfectly, however, that my 10 year old is a girl and it was a book for girls age 9-12. The items spanned the entire age range, and fortunately my kids are evenly spaced so there was nothing that wasn't age appropriate for at least one of them. There was also a great book for me! I know a lot of people feel cheated because the items in the box do not really add up to the promised price of $80 given that they are almost entirely clearance or close out items, but when you consider that you are paying less than a dollar a piece for them it is still a tremendous value.

1. People looking to buy for a single age or gender

1. People looking to buy for a full range of ages
2. People wanting to buy for both girls and boys
This item is good for:
1. Stocking stuffers
2. To have on hand for last minute gifts
