Product Description

Books make a difference in people lives, and at no time is this more evident than childhood and adolescence. Morals, ethics, flights of fancy, decisions, and creative, imaginary realms-books help shape the mind, and the mind the course of a life. Compiling a list of the books every child read-a basic literary heritage-this canon has stood the test of time. Arranged by age group and book type (i.e. Board Books/ Birth to Age 2), discover the books you've known, and some you might have missed. Each entry features the author name, publishing information, pages, and age range, and is followed by a summary. Rediscover The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Miss Nelson is Missing!, The Snowman, Snowflake Bentley, Make Way for Ducklings, Caps for Sale, Ramona the Pest, Betsy-Tacy, Sarah, Plain & Tall, The People Could Fly, The Phantom Tollbooth, From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E.
