Publisher's Description

Etz Chaim—the Tree of Life

The Torah, the Bible, the Tree of Life—God’s Word is a set of instructions for everyone who wants to live a victorious, joyful, and abundant life.

Etz Chaim explains a parable relating to the Tree of Life that the Lord spoke to the author—a Messianic Rabbi. The parable opens wide the unique components of the Word and the physical Tree of Life that is introduced in Genesis and again in Revelation.

The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life(Genesis 2:9).

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God (Revelation 2:7).

The parable reveals seven aspects of the Tree of Life:
  • The ground.
  • The seed.
  • The roots.
  • The trunk.
  • The branches.
  • The leaves.
  • The fruit.
Each of these components brings seven life-changing conclusions to light that stimulate spiritual growth and maturity. The simple yet profound image is powerful and compels you to into self-examination to assure your spiritual health and growth in each of the areas God wanted the author to share with you.

—Terri Gillespie, author of Making Eye Contact with God and writer of the "Restoration of Israel Minute"

"Amazingly, the Biblical Tree of Life, which was so central to our earliest beginnings, has seldom been examined. Eric Walker’s approach of parable and analogy help us to plumb the depth of its meaning."
—Paul Liberman, President of Messianic Jewish Alliance of America and Author of The Fig Tree Blossoms

"Only a Messianic Rabbi who is flooded with God’s Spirit can teach the end-time understanding of the Torah.  Feast on the heart of God as Rabbi Eric Walker unfolds this end-time revelation."

Messianic Rabbi Eric E. Walker introduces his book "Etz Chaim: the Tree of Life" with lessons from Genesis, Psalms, Jeremiah, as well as the gospels of Mark and John, and Revelation. He guides the reader through seven lessons learned from the "ground." These lessons include profound questions for personal consideration, beautiful illustrative artwork, practical exercises for application, and comprehensive end notes which lend themselves to further reading and additional study.

Walker provides practical, easy to understand instructions for abundant living from the Torah. The book is presented in the form of an inspired parable. The seven chapters are based on the seven aspects of the Tree of Life: The ground, the seed, the roots, the trunk, the branches, the leaves, and the fruit. Each chapter culminates with seven life-changing conclusions drawn from seven lessons, broken down into seven parts, with seven exercises at the end of each part.

Walker delivers a powerful message challenging the reader to a personal examination of their spiritual status as a Christian in a writing style that is simple yet profound. It is inspirational and motivational.

Etz Chaim: the Tree of Life is Biblically based, true to the scriptures, providing understanding, offering hope, while revealing the end times teaching of the Torah.
