Cassie's Wedding Dress (Novelette) - eBook
not close to being believable
I am going to be very hard on this book. I realize being a novella subject matter had to be covered quickly. But really, out of thousands of people that royalty see every day, one dress is going to be seen and used in her wedding. Not. I am not accusing the author of downgrading Gods importance but anybody that gets thrilled to the point of fainting to see royalty needs to get a life. Would they get that excited if Jesus was walking by? This book just did absolutely nothing for me.

I loved this one!
Cassie Hinton's life is about to changeâ¦again.
She's making a wedding dress as a window display in her brother's shop to honor the Royal Wedding celebration. She designed the dress years ago, planning to wear it to her own weddingâ¦someday. But a riding accident stole her leg and any hope of being a bride. The dress may as well be used for something.
But when her childhood friend and secret love, Pastor Jack Chambers, re-enters her world, Cassie begins to wonder if a normal life might be possible after all. But there's Jack's position in the church to consider. Can he retain his ministry and court a parishioner?
And even if that's possible, they must first survive a trial of completely different kindâ¦
Cassie's Wedding Dress is a sweet love story with an edge of suspense and a heart-rending thread of backstory, expertly woven into the storyline. Revell uses her obvious storytelling talent with flair and aplomb in this wonderful novella that packs a lot of emotion, humor, and poignancy into a minimum of space. The perfect story to curl up with on a lazy afternoon. Kudos to the author for writing like a pro!

An enjoyable readâ¦
When was the last time you read a book about an ex-jockey? Or a royal wedding? Yeah. Me, too. I was intrigued from the start.
Clare Revell takes you on a sweet ride in CassieâÂÂs Wedding Dress. YouâÂÂll meet characters struggling with real issues, like Cassie Hinton, an ex-jockey battling bitterness and reeling in her faith, and Jack Chambers, a single father doing his best to raise his daughter while still trying to come to grips with his wifeâÂÂs death.
When long-time friends Jack and Cassie reconnect, you think the ride is almost over, but Ms. Revell has a few surprises left in this short, sweet, and emotionally satisfying story. IâÂÂll be watching for Clare RevellâÂÂs next book.
