Did Jesus of Nazareth really rise from the dead?
Of the many world religions, only one claims that its founder returned from the grave. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the very cornerstone of Christianity.
But a dead man coming back to life? In our sophisticated age, when myth has given way to science, who can take such a claim seriously? Some argue that Jesus never died on the cross. Conflicting accounts make the empty tomb seem suspect.
How credible is the evidence forand againstthe resurrection? Focusing his award-winning skills as a legal journalist on historys most compelling enigma, Lee Strobel retraces the startling findings that led him from atheism to belief. He examines:
The Medical EvidenceWas Jesus death a sham and his resurrection a hoax?
The Evidence of the Missing BodyWas Jesus body really absent from his tomb?
The Evidence of AppearancesWas Jesus seen alive after his death on the cross?
Written in a hard-hitting journalistic style, The Case for Easter probes the core issues of the resurrection. Jesus Christ, risen from the dead: superstitious myth or life-changing reality? The evidence is in. The verdict is up to you.
Lee Strobel was the award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune and is the best-selling author of The Case for Christ, The Case for Faith, The Case for a Creator, and The Case for Grace. With a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Studies in Law degree from Yale, Lee has won four Gold Medallions for publishing excellence and coauthored the Christian Book of the Year. He serves as Professor of Christian Thought at Houston Baptist University. Visit Lee's website at: leestrobel.com
Dave4 Stars Out Of 5GoodMay 8, 2015DaveQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4I loved the book but I thought that it was a little complex for an unbeliever to understand. A little difficult for someone who has little knowledge of Christian terminology.
Ian5 Stars Out Of 5The Case for EasterMay 6, 2015IanQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is an excerpt of Strobel's larger work, "The Case for Christ" and as such is an excellent resource for those seeking specifically for proof of the Resurrection of Jesus. I purchased 25 of these 92 page booklets to give to our Bible Study group for further dissemination to other seekers. Some were used by our outreach team in a local college campus.
Easily read in a short period of time it is definitely to be recommended, as are any of Lee Strobel's books.

I purchased 50 and handed them out to everyone that came to our Easter service. I have had a great response. I have just ordered another 40 to leave as part of a tip or just to leave in Dr. offices. Thank you Lee Strobel, and CBD for the great price.
