Murder with a light-touch, quirky characters and enough motives to make finding the real culprit a challenge.

The Camera Never Lies  is an excellent read and very highly recommended.

Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm a 7th generation Texan living in East Texas, surrounded with family on both sides. I grew up in the small town of Kilgore, during it's boom town days it was once considered the world's richest acre.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I lived in Oregon for five years and have the opportunity to visit so many beautiful places including Crater Lake. Since I'm often inspired by settings, Crater Lake was no different and I knew I wanted to set a story there. Of course, the names have been changed to protect the innocent. Crater Lake became Caldera Lake in the novel.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope people will laugh in the right places, and hope they find themselves considering the deeper matters of the heart. I've tried to touch on a few of these things in the discussion questions.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I enjoyed writing this story immensely, in fact, it surprised me just how much. It was quirky and fun and even I didn't know who the killer was until the end.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  My all time favorite authors are Francine Rivers, Stephen Lawhead and I love Kathy Tyers' Firebird series.
