As a Christian who is extremely careful and choosy in what I watch, I highly recommend the movie, C Me Dance. This powerful, tear-jerking movie was creatively written and has an engaging storyline that captured both my heart and my attention. I very much appreciated how C Me Dance depicted real life (in the real world - with its real problems), with what I believe to be a spiritually balanced and Biblically accurate depiction. This movie, although encouraging with its strong Christian theme, does not deny the reality that we live in a difficult world with dark, spiritual forces, whose purpose is to scare us into passivity. However, by the end of the movie, I was greatly encouraged and inspired to fight fear and passivity. I must admit that, because it contains scenes that may be frightening, I was extremely afraid it would feed my, already present, fear. I was quite surprised, however, when I realized that C Me Dance was the tool that God desired to use to help me to face my fear and receive the much needed freedom from that specific fear! I also was very touched by C Me Dance's powerful and dramatic scenes of transformation. Some scenes tugged at my heart, while others drew me closer to God as I watched the characters have a change of heart. Of course, not all the scenes are intense. As someone who loves the beautiful art of dance, I also enjoyed the dancing scenes, and appreciated the talent flowing through the dancers. In addition, there are some other scenes that are just plain enjoyable to watch. C Me Dance is a light that shines in the darkness. It touched my heart, and it left me emotionally and spiritually ready to receive God's touch for me personally...which I think is a great quality in a movie!

Although I try to support the Christian film industry, this film was a disappointment. I could not honestly recommend it.

The thing most moving about C Me Danc is the way it tells all of our stories: The dreams we have, the colision they have with adversity and the evil one. Our ultimate triumph is sure if we are faithful, perservere reach out to others with Christ's love. I was brought to tears as I saw how powerfully God can us the ordinary and even the weak to glorify Himself and advance His purpose in the world. his is a must see for all who care about being used by God to change thier world.

Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm a filmmaker raised in Hollywood California. In 1990, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. I started a company called Uplifting Entertainment and created a christian sitcom called PASTOR GREG, that airs on TBN. We have produced many Christ centered children tv series for TBN since then. If it doesn't lift up Jesus, then we don't touch it.

What was your motivation behind this project?   I fell in love with the ballet many years ago - it's a beautiful art. Also, I have experienced spiritual warfare while on my journey to bring people to know the love of Jesus Christ. I wanted to grab people with a story that would shake them up. I wrote this movie for the lost, not the religious.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  It is my prayer that non believers will walk away asking questions and believers will look past the 4-walls of their church. I hope the movie does what happens in the movie. That people's lives will be touched and we have a deeper passion for life and service.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I have been living this movie. I am in awe of the love of GOD!

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I enjoy writing styles of people like Frances Goodrich, Timothy Craig and Frank Nugent. As for directors, I like work from John Ford, Clint Eastwood and Frank Capra. Some of the best actors on the planet are people you might not have heard of, names like Hugh McLean, Laura Romeo and Lesley Bowen are amazing talents that I am a fan of.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  More people buy a movie ticket then go to all the sporting events put together, making the movie screen a very powerful and influential force. These influences are very sad to say the least. David Frost put it best when he said "TV and movies are inventions that allow us to be entertained in our living rooms by people we would not have in our homes". We all complain about this problem. Well we now have a voice! When we support a faith based movie we send a signal to Hollywood that we have had enough. It is part of my mission to bring you entertainment that is pleasing to God. The TV set and movie screen can be a joy and a wonderful tool - please join me in the fight and let's get them back for HIM.
