As I have shared with you before here on my blog, that I am not a mother but, I enjoy reading books on health and nutrition. I know many mothers who could and would love to have this book on hand.
As said in this book there is the internet where you can find information about anything the problem is there is an overload of it and you can easily get very confused. In this easy to understand book that starts with the basics on nutrition, carbohydrates, hypoglycemia, different types of sugar, and more.
I know when I go into a store to buy juice that is truly 100% juice i am overwhelmed with a wall of different juices....this book breaks everything down so easily as to how to make the right choices without overloading you.
Just recently we decided to actually sit at the dinner table every night and eat dinner together.....I love it and so do my husband, his step sister and her husband....it is a blessing to be together and just share whatever comes up...I DO NOT care how "BUSY" you are, you MUST make an effort to enjoy your family as much as you can because you never know when there will be a time and it will be too late....
And this book helps you make the important things important.
I enjoyed the question and answer format because it is straight to the point without a bunch of mumbo jumbo...There are no quick fixes if you want to be a healthy and happy family it will take time and work....and to me thatâÂÂs whatâÂÂs wrong with families now a days...all too busy online, using i pads, cell phones and all the garbage that comes with them.
In the Forward Paul says," This book is one in a series of Busy Mom's Guides, all of which are intended to provide help and hope for important concerns of family life. By the way, we would be very pleased if these guides would prove useful to some busy dads as well" Which I believe Paul has accomplished in this much needed guide for all families.
I recommend this book for ALL moms and dads...if we all took care of our families using this guide what a difference the families would be.
