Extremely helpful for older children and parents I am a pastoral counselor who has worked with children of divorce and their parents in classes and in counseling for 25 years. I have done extensive research on this subject for a master's thesis and preparations for classes and counseling. Broken is the best book that I have read on this subject. The author expresses his journey to recovery that would be a great help for the individuals going through the divorce recovery process. February 25, 2012

Great resource In Broken Tim Baker shares very honestly about the healing he needed as an adult because of the divorce of his parents when he was a child. He shares about effects such as anger. self hate, and loss and shows how he found healing in Christ. Without giving pat "Sunday School" answers to the problems of divorce, Baker shows how Christ walks with us through pain and is always ready to receive us. As one who often works with teenagers of divorced parents, I am excited to have this resource to share. It would also be a great resource for those recovering from any sort of childhood or adolescent pain. December 11, 2010
