Author Bio

LAURA J. BOGGESS grew up in impoverished Appalachia, facing the all-too-common problems of parental alcoholism and divorce. Her experiences led to the desire to help others heal through story. Laura obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and currently works in a medical rehabilitation facility where she counsels patients with acquired brain injury and their families. She has been published in the Charleston Gazette, Pray! magazine, Proverbs 31 Women magazine, and Crosswalk.com.
